Repeat Prescription Request

For your convenience, if you have previously been given a prescription by the VetCall Veterinary Surgery, you can place a repeat prescription order online through our website. As all requests for Prescription Only Medicines must be authorised by a veterinary surgeon, please allow 2 working days for online orders to be processed. Orders placed at the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday. Order processing will also vary on Bank Holidays.

We will contact you should we require a little more time to obtain items to order or should we require your pet to be examined first.

Please remember that in order to comply with our legal requirements, it is necessary for us to re-examine your pet from time to time before issuing further medication. The time interval between examinations will vary to some extent depending on the nature of the condition and the medication prescribed. This is to ensure that there are no side effects and that the dose rate and type of medication is appropriate. For example, dogs and cats on longterm pain relief anti-inflammatories must have biochemistry parameters measured as they are generally older patients. Cats on anti-thyroid medication should have annual measures of their thyroid levels as these may fluctuate, even with medication. This is also true for pets on anti-convulsant therapies and some heart medication.

We also stock a wide range of products available without prescription including shampoos and nutritional supplements.

If your request is urgent, please call 020 8529 4004 (24 hours).

Payment is required upon collection.

We need a few details so that we can match your request to our client and patient records.

Are you a registered client of VetCall Veterinary Surgery? You cannot order a repeat prescription unless you are a registered client. Please click here to register online, you will have to wait until your registration is confirmed before you can order a repeat prescription online.
